On the second day of the tour, your itinerary leads you to explore the Sham Valley region near Leh. Your initial stop is approximately 30 kilometers from Leh city at the Sangam point, where you'll encounter the striking contrast between the cold and vividly colored waters of the Zanskar and Indus rivers. This location is also known for high-altitude river rafting, offering adventurous opportunities. For those seeking even more excitement, Tsogtsi village, located about 7 kilometers from Sangam point, provides an option for bungee jumping. After enjoying some leisure time in this picturesque setting, you'll head back towards Leh. Along the return journey, your first stop is at Magnetic Hill, where you can witness the intriguing natural phenomenon of objects appearing to defy gravity. Following this, you'll make a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib for a moment of reflection and prayer. Finally, your day concludes with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the valor and sacrifices made in the nation's wars. As you depart from Leh and make your way towards the first high pass of the tour, Khardung La, you'll immediately feel the chill in the air. Make a brief stop at Khardung La to capture the moment and then descend. Along the route, be prepared to witness the raw, ever-shifting beauty of the sand dunes, a unique sight in this landscape. While en route, make a visit to the Diskit monastery and take some time to relax and enjoy the serene valley. Here, you have the opportunity to partake in activities like Bactrian camel rides, ATV rides, and various adventure sports. Upon arriving at your campsite, check in and take the evening to unwind after a busy yet thrilling day.
